Congrats Baby Stamped Square Frame - Make It Monday

Have you heard of the company Papertrey Ink?  If you have not, you NEED to go check them out.  This is essential!!  This company has incredible beautiful stamps, cardstock that will blow your mind, and an amazing design team that is just crazy talented.  Every Monday they have a series called Make it Monday that shows a video with a new technique or stamping trick to try.  This Monday is was to create a stamped square frame.  Here is my take on it.

I used an image from the Bountiful Banners stamp set to create the square frame.  I then die cut a banner using the matching Bountiful Banners die.  What do you think?  I love the framed image!!  Also, check out that cardstock base... it is Rustic White Cardstock and I have never in my life worked with such amazing cardstock.  It is thick, cuts like a dream, and stamps beautifully.  You have to try it!!!

Studio Calico Sketch and Moxie Fab World Ready Made Embellishments Challenge

There is something about a challenge that really just gets my creative juices flowing.  And lately, I've been able to miraculously combine one or two or even three challenges together to come up with an awesome project.  I'm really, really happy with this one and for a number of reasons.  For one, I love the colors on this card.  For two, I made a card with no stamping!  (I know, right?!?)  YES... it is a rarity for me, but I thought that the sentiment on the journaling card was perfect enough.  No stamping required.  So, this card was made combing the Sunday Sketch Challenge at Studio Calico and the Ready-Made Embellishments Challenge at Moxie Fab World.  My ready-made embellishment... The journaling card of course!!

You Me Love Bold Typography Card

I love typography, letters, and paper.  I wanted to make a card that was simple but made a big statement.  I think this card does just that and would be perfect to give to your Mr.

Stampin' Up! Cards, Labels Easel Card

Check out this awesome Stampin' Up! Card we made at my Labels, Frames and Accents class last month.

My gals LOVED making this card, and I happen to love it as well.  I love the contrasting colors of the Wisteria Wonder and Daffodil Delight.  I also love the Vintage and Shabby Chic feel of this card with the round edges from the Labels Framelits and the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.

Stampin' Up! Cards, Apothecary Art Happiest Birthday

I just love the beautiful designs in the Apothecary Art Stamp Set.  And, it is so much fun to have a die to match and cut it out PERFECTLY!!  The Labels Collection Framelits fit this stamp set perfectly, cutting out each stamp with percision.  Isn't it just elegant??

I cased this card from Jacqueline Lostritto and changed the color.  She used Daffodil Delight in place of the Wisteria Wonder, which was super fun and bright!!  The Wisteria Wonder makes it a bit more soft and elegant.  Isn't it fantastic how you can change the colors and you can have a completely different card??

Stampin' Up! Cards, Take it to Heart

I am just so excited about the new products in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I am ESPECIALLY excited about the Hearts Collection Framelits (labels, too!) and the Take it To Heart Stamp Set.  I love that you can stamp, cut it out with the Big Shot, mat it will another cut out, and do so many other things.  Oh my, I am in creative heaven!!  The Hearts Collection Framelits and the Take it to Heart Stamp Set are made to coordinate together, so try them out, and show me what you make!!

I used the coordinating colors of Blushing Bride Pleated Ribbon, Ink, and Twitterpated Buttons.  And, I colored the Silver Glimmer Paper with Blushing Bride Ink and a Blender Pen.  Make sure you heat it with a heat tool to try it before you add it to your project!!

Valentine Pillow Box Treat Holder

I just love Valentines Day (no pun intended).  It is SO much fun to make projects for Valentines day.  You can make cards, treat holders, valentines for your kids class (I'm working on it)... It is just a blast.  Here is a fun and easy treat holder made from our Pillow Box die.  I just ADORE the Pillow Box die.  It makes SUPER easy favors for all kinds of events!!

This was really easy to make:  Run your cardstock through the Big Shot using the Pillow Box die.  Punch a heart from the middle of one side.  Cut a piece of our Window Sheets and adhere it to the inside of the pillow box, behind the punch out.  It creates a super cute peek-a-boo window.

A Rainbow of Beautiful Wings

Can I just say... I am in LOVE with this card.  Ever since I saw the Beautiful Wings embosslits die I have wanted to make a card that looks like the butterflies were just flying off the paper.  How do you think I did?  I love the colors (brights collection) and all the 3-D aspects of this card.  So, with all the movement on this card, I decided to keep the stamping simple and to the point (and also with a butterfly!)   Anywho, this was a really fun card to make and makes me happy just looking at all the color.
